Honda Dio 125 Gets Launched in Nepal!!!

Honda India introduced the Honda Dio 125 two-wheeler scooter back on July 13, 2023. Recently it made its first official debut at the 2023 NADA Auto Show where it was officially launched. The introductory pricing of the Honda Dio standard edition is Rs. 2,99,000 in the Nepalese market and for the deluxe edition is priced at Rs. 3,10,000. Syakar Trading, the authorized distributor of Honda motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, will soon be making the all-new Honda Dio 125 scooters available for purchase.

The main highlight of the all-new Honda Dio 125 scooter is that it gets a bigger 125 cc PGM-FI engine with improved features and styling. And also it is available in H-Smart and Standard Variants. Both of the variants have similar specs and features; the only main difference between the two is that the pricier H-Smart variant gets a wavy front disc and smart key with many keyless functions.

Honda Dio 125 Design

Let’s start off by talking about the design of the Honda Dio 125 as it combines the same familiarity with a brand-new design. The front section boasts a unique LED headlight accompanied by integrated split LED daytime running lights. Additionally, you'll find halogen side indicators positioned on the front panel.

Moving on, the side view highlights the design that gained popularity through the Honda Grazia.

The Honda Dio exhibits an artfully designed appearance with distinct angles and folds, featuring more pronounced nuances. Additionally, this aspect accentuates its updated Bold Graphics and two-tone color schemes.

Turning our attention to the rear portion, it showcases familiar elements such as the Jet-style Tailamp, Halogen Side Markers, External Fuel Cap, and Split Rear Handlebar, akin to those found on the Grazia.

But there's more to it!

Even the latest digital dashboard has been adopted by the Grazia 125. However, the Dual-Tip Exhaust is a fresh addition!

The Honda Dio 125 is available in Blue, Red, Gray, Gray Metallic, Black, Red Metallic, and Blue Metallic colors.

The Honda Grazia 125 features a 123.92cc single-cylinder engine with fan cooling and a four-stroke design. This engine delivers a maximum power output of 8.28 PS at 6250 rpm and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. Additionally, it comes equipped with a V-Matic transmission and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 liters.

This engine setup closely resembles the previous model, the Honda Grazia 125. As a result, riders can expect a similar overall riding experience.

Additionally, the Dio 125 will incorporate the HET with Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) Technology. It will also include features such as Automatic Idling Stop System, Silent Start, and Engine Cut-Off when the side stand is engaged.

The Honda Dio 125 is constructed with an Underbone framework. It employs Telescopic forks and a 3-step Adjustable Spring Loaded Hydraulic system to manage its suspension.

In terms of braking, the Honda Dio 125 utilizes a front Disc and a rear Drum setup, accompanied by a safety feature called the Combined Braking System (CBS).

The dimensions of the Honda Dio 125 are as follows: 1830mm in length, 707mm in width, and a height of 1172mm. Additionally, its wheelbase measures 1260mm.
