The first ever electric motorcycle production company in Nepal is the Yatri Motorcycles. It was established by Ashim Pandey in 2017 and in 2021 Yatri P1 first electric motorcycle was manufactured in Nepal and introduced to the market. 

As the Yatri P1 got a positive response from the market, Recently Yatri has announced that the Yatri motorcycle is about to launch the new Yatri P1 Gen2 in 2024 with all new advanced features.

Performance and Design

The new Yatri P1 Gen2 is claimed to be similar in design to Yatri P1 with improved handling and performance. Yatri P1 Gen2 will come with enhanced performance than before with more efficiency and power. Yatri has built it with a new crash cage for the safety of the motorcycle. There is a slight change in the design of the headlight and overall body shape. Even Being an electric motorcycle, its bold design makes it more attractive to anyone.

What's new

There are many changes in the new Yatri P1 Gen2. Some of the major changes are: 

All-new crash guard:

To enhance the safety of the rider and the bike the all-new Yatri P1 Gen2 comes with a crash guard. It helps the balance of the motorcycle as well as to protect the bike from normal crashes.

Alloy Wheels:

Alloy wheels help to provide a more balanced ride than other wheel types. So the new Yatri P1 Gen2 comes with Alloy wheels and tubeless tyres making it a performance electric motorcycle.

Bold but minimal Design Language:

Managing all the necessary things in one bike has been a main problem for motorcycle production, so decoding all unnecessary stuff, the Yatri P1 Gen2 is bold but with minimal design language. It means its body is built with only the necessary elements and looks simple and sweet.

Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto:

Normally Apple Carplay & Android Auto are the advanced features that come on the 4-wheel car. Yatri P1 Gen2 will be the first Nepal 2wheels to have this feature. Apple Carplay and Android Auto will make it a more futuristic electric motorcycle with a wireless mobile connection and will provide almost all the features included in any smartphone.
