Zontes ZT 310T Overview
Design
The Zontes 310T has the outer appearance of a super adventure touring motorbike with an outrageous multi-cladding design, that blends well with one another. A trademark Beak-Styled Mudguard, Electronically Adjustable Visor, and Aluminum Alloy Forged Handguard are sported at the front section of the bike. The front section also has an electronic windshield that can be adjusted at two different heights, which is a new thing in the Nepali market. The electronic adjustment of the windshield helps protect the riders from windblasts and improves the ride.
Though it's an adventure touring bike, it can also be used as a day-to-day commuter in the city. The bike has an aggressive, sci-fi, and futuristic look while being huge, which makes it stand out in the crowd and will surely turn a lot of heads when on the road.Â
The Zontes ZT 310T’s design is also integrated with a crash guard on the front, which helps protect the bike from accidental falls or accidents. It also comes with an inclusion of hand guards. The bike features a multi-LED headlamp complete with integrated DRLs and LED side indicators. Another interesting thing about the design of the Zontes ZT 310T is that the entire setup is carefully integrated with the headlamp housing. The side part is protected by an integrated bumper (crash guard). It also has a higher-quality leather cushion seat for both short and long-distance riding. Other notable highlights include stylized alloy wheels, a rear fender bracket, and an anti-scald exhaust pipe.Â
Performance
The Zontes 310T is a high-performance adventure touring motorcycle powered by a 312 cc liquid-cooled, delphi fuel injection, single-cylinder engine with a dry sump lubrication system. The bike generates a max power of 35.35 PS at 9500 rpm and a max torque of 30 Nm at 7500 rpm enabling the Zontes 310T to hit a top speed of 150 km/hr and claiming a decent range of 31.25 km/l. The dry sum lubrication technique is generally employed in large superbikes and is far superior to the wet sum lubrication technology found in the majority of Nepalese bikes. It keeps the engine cool and increases riding efficiency.Â
The bike also gets a 6-speed transmission with a 19-liter fuel tank capacity. This bike utilizes a Bosch EFI with a high compression ratio of 12.5:1 for low fuel consumption, low emission, and high performance. Another new feature of Zontes ZT 310T is the high-power magneto; which is effective for generating power, controlling temperature, and improving performance. It also helps to enhance the overall battery storage capacity. With that, it also has a tyre pressure monitoring system.Â
Suspension, Tyres And Brakes
Talking about the suspension setup of the Zontes ZT 310T, it has a well-balanced setup with inverted coil spring forks at the front and a center-position oscillating mono-shock absorber at the rear. This in turn helps to provide a comfortable ride over rough terrain, while still providing good handling on the road.
The body proportions of the Zontes 310T are perfectly distributed, measuring 2080 mm in length, 1360 mm in width, 850 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 1380 mm. It also comes with a generous ground clearance of 186 mm.Â
It also comes equipped with dual-purpose tyres and spoke wheels, with which the Zontes ZT 310T Adventure Tourer tackles any terrain. The 110/70-17 front tyre and 160/60-17 rear tyre offer exceptional grip and traction, allowing riders to confidently conquer rough terrain while maintaining stability on the road. The bikes are equipped with a 300 mm disc brake at the front and a 230 mm disc brake at the rear with dual-channel ABS.Â
