Vehicle Description
Jagadamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS bikes here in Nepal, has launched its newest series of BS6 bikes for the Nepali market. The new and exciting motorbike which was launched is none other than the TVS Ronin 225 itself. You may have heard about it from recent news outlets and other blogs and articles on the internet. The Ronin was released in India on July 5, 2022, and after making a successful splash in the Indian market, the TVS Ronin 225 has finally been launched in the Nepalese market after a long and arduous wait.
Let’s take a quick look at the specifications of the bike itself:
Design and Features
The distinctive design of the TVS Ronin 225, which easily mixes modern aesthetics with a tinge of retro charm, cannot be overlooked. The motorbike has strong lines and powerful aesthetic characteristics that exude power and dynamism. The contoured fuel tank, slim side panels, and stylish tail section all add to the vehicle's overall strong and athletic appearance. A circular T-Face Pilot Lamp with a bright LED light is installed in the front part. LEDs are often used as side indicators. Other distinctive Ronin features include 9-spoke alloy wheels, a chain cover, and a custom exhaust.
The Ronin 225's design is further complemented by its premium-quality paint finishes, attention to detail, and high-quality materials, making it a showstopper everywhere it travels. The TVS Ronin 225 is also available in six various colors, including grey and orange.
Performance
The TVS Ronin 225 is powered by a strong engine that gives an amazing performance on both metropolitan streets and vast highways. The Ronin 225 is powered by a 225.9 cc 4-stroke, 4-valve, Oil-Cooled, SOHC, FI engine. It has a maximum power output of 20.4 PS at 7750 rpm and a maximum torque output of 19.93 Nm at 3750 rpm. A liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 225 cc single-cylinder engine that produces remarkable power and torque ratings, resulting in exhilarating acceleration and a comfortable ride.
Riders can effortlessly harness the engine's potential with a precise and sensitive throttle, making every twist of the wrist an adrenaline-pumping experience. It is coupled to a 5-speed transmission with an Assisted Slipper Clutch. Furthermore, it has a 14-liter fuel tank capacity.
Unlike previous TVS products, there are no riding modes. It does, however, have an urban and Rain Mode for adjusting the ABS sensitivity. Glide Through Technology (GTT), Adjustable Levers, Side Stand Engine Cut Off, and Dual-Channel ABS are other standard features.
Suspension, Dimension, and Tyre
The performance of the Ronin 225 isn't restricted to straight-line speed. This motorbike is built with outstanding handling and agility in mind, allowing riders to carve through curves with confidence and accuracy. The lightweight chassis, along with a well-tuned suspension system, gives outstanding stability and control, making it a good choice for both experienced and novice riders.
The measurements are 2040mm long, 1170mm high, and 805mm wide. Furthermore, the wheelbase is 1357mm. The TVS Ronin has a ground clearance of 181mm. Furthermore, the kerb weight is 160 kg. Suspension is handled via a 41mm USD fork and a 7-Step Adjustable Mono Shock. The TVS Ronin will have disc brakes on both ends. The base and mid-level varieties only have one ABS channel, but the top-tier variants have two.
