The Bajaj Pulsar 150, is the original model that started it all for the pulsar series of bikes. HH Bajaj is the authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal and have brought the latest version of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 in fresh graphical changes for a sportier feel.
In Nepal, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 street bike has a starting price range from 2.98 to 3.16 lakhs. It also comes in Front Disc and Twin Disc options.
Talking about the design of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 it has similar styling like every other Bajaj motorcycles with a fresh coat of paint to bring out its sporty characteristics. The bike also has a dagger inspired graphics which matches its engine cowl. The bike also includes classic features like clip-on handlebars, backlit switches, and an analog-digital instrument console.
The 149.5cc BS4 Twin Spark DTS-I engine that powers the Bajaj Pulsar 150 produces 14 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 13.4 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The bike comes with a 5-speed gearbox which has a fuel capacity of 15 liter. The bike comes fitted with a BS4- compliant Carburetor engine. The bike also comes with a Clip On Handle Bars, Rear LED lights, Analog-Digital Meter and more.
Pulsar 150 Dual Disc also comes with a larger disc, thicker tyres, huge front forks, and a split -seat setup. But the standard version of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 has a smaller front disc, smaller tyres, slimmer front forks, and a single-piece seat.
The bike's physical dimensions are as follows: 2055mm long, 765 mm wide, and 1115 mm tall. The wheelbase is also 1345mm. It also comes with a 165 mm ground clearance and a kerb weight of 144 kg.
Telescoping front forks with Anti Friction Brush and Adjustable Twin Shock Absorber handles as the back support the Pulsar 150. The Dual Disc version as the name implies comes with Dual Disc Braking over Front only Disc as found in the Standard variant.
Although the motorcycle hasn't been updated to a new style for a while, various color schemes and versions have been added over time. The company's Neon line, which features a motorcycle with a matte metallic grey color scheme and contrasting neon orange or yellow highlights, has been developed to spice it up a notch. The Neon model, however, lacks engine belly and tank extensions. In addition, the split seat design and sporty decals for the single and twin-disc models remain on the motorcycle.
Six color options are available for the Bajaj Pulsar 150: neon red, neon yellow, and neon silver for the new Neon series, and black-grey, black-red, and black-blue for the single-disc and dual-disc models, respectively.
The Pulsar 150 competes in its segment against other executive 150cc commuter bikes such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, Yamaha FZ FI v2.0 and Honda CB Unicorn 150.
